Coastal Console Table: 4 Pieces That Pull the Look Together

Sharing is caring!

THE COASTAL CONSOLE EDIT

You don’t need to start over to make your coastal console table feel more pulled together.

BEFORE YOU SHOP: Don’t ask, “What else can I put here?” Ask, “What’s missing?” That’s how you stop collecting random decor + start pulling a look together.

Start with what you already have—a favorite piece of art, a vase + greenery, a stack of books or something collected over time.

Then add a few finishing layers that make the whole thing click.

For this console, I used four pieces from the Flairfully Yours shop to add height, texture, shape + that little hit of watery color I love.

THE COLOR TRICK: Your pieces don’t need to be matchy-matchy. Repeating a few colors is what makes them work together.

THE FORMULA

Here’s the simple formula you can use to style your own coastal console table:

1. ADD HEIGHT

The rope-wrapped glass hourglass adds height without competing with taller pieces like artwork or greenery.

YOUR TURN: Look for a spot that feels a little low or empty. A taller accessory may be all it needs.

Think staircase, not straight line. Mix low + medium + tall pieces to lead your eye through the whole arrangement.

2. ADD SOMETHING SCULPTURAL

The white coral piece + the nautilus shell add intriguing shapes that break up all the straight lines of the console, artwork + vintage box.

YOUR TURN: Look for something with a little shape or curve—a shell, coral or another sculptural piece can be all you need.

SHAPE CHECK: Too many boxes + straight lines can make a space feel stiff. Add a curve to soften things up.

3. ADD TEXTURE + MOVEMENT

Instead of placing the wood + sea glass beads in a neat little pile, I draped them across the vintage box + console.

They connect the whole arrangement.

YOUR TURN: Let beads spill, drape or wander a little. Perfectly placed isn’t always more interesting. 😉

CONNECT THE DOTS: Got a few pieces that feel like they’re just sitting next to each other? Drape beads between them to visually tie the groups together.

4. ADD A LITTLE COLOR

The aqua glass ball repeats the watery blues in the artwork + beads without everything having to match.

YOUR TURN: Pull one color from something you already own and repeat it once or twice in smaller doses.

COLOR CHECK: Pick one color you love, then let it show up in 2–3 different places. That’s enough to make the whole look feel intentional.

THE BEST PART?

You don’t need everything in this photo.

Use your own art. Your own vase. Your own books. That vintage piece you love.

Then add pieces to fill what’s missing.

That’s the whole idea behind a Flairfully Yours Edit: I find the pieces that work together + show you exactly how to use them.
