The satisfying burn of a killer workout is like my little hidden thrill, perfectly blending with my love for balancing nutritious bites with my (many) favorite salty sweets, sweet treats, and cocktails with friends. Because, let’s be real, life’s a delightful mix of squats and tacos!

Life with boys

With my utter lack of hairstyling skills, God knew what he was doing when he gave me boys. Life with two teen boys (and 3 male cats) is anything but dull, but I’m trying to treasure every single chaotic moment (as I simultaneously attempt to avoid a total breakdown any time I think about my firstborn beelining closer and closer to adulthood.)

Hands down, water is my absolute, total, happy place. Lake, Ocean. Pool. I love it all. There is nothing like the shimmering sparkle of the sun hitting the water to center me. Living near a lake has literally been a dream come true for me in adulthood. Summertime ‘lake days’ are basically considered sacred in our family. Sorry. Can’t. Lake. Bye.
